New Products: RNAcentral

The RNAcentral Consortium, an alliance of academic institutes developing databases of RNA information, has launched RNAcentral 1.0, a publicly available collection of non-coding RNA data.

According to the group, the resource aggregates information from the consortium's different databases and provides stable accession numbers that can be used consistently in the literature, other molecular databases, and search engines. The website also allows researchers to search RNA sequences by source, species, and molecular function.

RNAcentral 1.0 can be found here.
