Luminex, Exiqon

Luminex and Exiqon have recently introduced FlexmiR, a line of microRNA analysis products that incorporates Luminex's flexible xMAP technology and Exiqon's locked nucleic acids.
The companies began working together on developing miRNA-based research products in September (see RNAi News, 9/21/2006).

The product line currently includes FlexmiR Human and FlexmiR Mouse/Rat panels, which allow for the measurement of miRNA sequence expression from the public miRBase database using total RNA samples without the need for RNA size fractionation or amplification, the companies said.
