Greg Hannon, Faye Coggins

Greg Hannon, a researcher at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, has been awarded the National Academy of Sciences’ NAS 2007 Award in Molecular Biology for his work in discovering the enzymatic mechanisms of RNAi.
The award was presented by Pfizer, according to the NAS.

Strategic Diagnostics, a developer of diagnostic testing and reagent systems, said this week that it has named Faye Coggins as executive director of marketing.
Coggins previously held various sales and marketing positions at DuPont. More recently, she was vice president of marketing for the life sciences research division of Fisher Biosciences and vice president of North American marketing at Qiagen.
