Clarification: Jayakrishna Ambati

In last week’s issue of RNAi News, University of Kentucky researcher Jayakrishna Ambati was quoted as stating that he was unaware of “any independent verification” of data published in Molecular Vision by certain researchers affiliated with Opko Health (see RNAi News, 4/3/2008).
Ambati was referring specifically to the siRNAs evaluated in that paper and their ability to inhibit neovascularization, not siRNAs in general.
