Cellectricon, Applied Biosystems

Cellectricon has recently introduced the Cellaxess HT system, a fully automated, high-throughput transfection system that enables regent-free delivery of genetic material to a range of cell types at a throughput of 50,000 a day.
According to the company, the system was developed to meet increasing demand for genome-wide RNAi screening technologies.

Applied Biosystems has launched the TaqMan Cells-to-CT line of real-time PCR kits.
According to the company, the kits “enable expression analysis to be performed directly from cultured mammalian cells derived from a variety of tissue sources, including epithelial cells and stem cells.
Among the kits available is the TaqMan microRNA Cells-to-CT kit for microRNA expression analysis.
