Applied Biosystems has recently introduced TaqMan microRNA assays for Arabidopsis, C. elegans, and Drosophila genes.
According to the company, the assays quantitate only biologically active mature miRNAs, require only 1 to 10 nanograms of total RNA, and have a dynamic range of up to 7 logs.
Amaxa said this week it has launched the Nucleofector 96-well Shuttle system for high-throughput transfection of primary cells with DNA and siRNA.
