Ambion recently introduced the LeukoLock total RNA isolation system.

According to the company, the system allows for cellular fractionation of whole blood and total RNA stabilization and extraction from the leukocyte population. It employs filter-based leukocyte-depletion technology to isolate leukocytes from whole blood and the company's RNAlater to stabilize the cells on the filter.
