The Oncomine Breast cfDNA Assay v2 is designed to detect mutations in 10 breast cancer-related genes including PIK3CA, AKT1, ESR1, TP53 and ERBB2 (~152 hotspots) and copy number variation in CCND1, ERBB2 and FGFR1. We performed analytical validation studies for the detection of hotspot mutations and copy number variation using commercially available cfDNA controls, full-length and fragmented cell line DNA dilutions, plasma-derived cfDNA samples and FFPE DNA samples.
