Twist Bioscience: Nicolas Barthelemy

Twist Bioscience has appointed Nicolas Barthelemy to its board of directors. Barthelemy has more than 25 years of experience in the life science industry, the company said. Most recently, he served as president and CEO of privately held molecular diagnostics company Biotheranostics. He has also served as president of global commercial operations at Life Technologies (now Thermo Fisher Scientific), and has served in various operational and commercial roles, including as vice president of manufacturing for Biogen. He began his career with Merck as a project engineer in the vaccine division. Barthelemy currently also serves on the board of Repligen, Fluidigm, Biocare Medical, and 908 Devices.
