Scott Storrer

Strand Life Sciences has named Scott Storrer its chief executive office. Earlier this year, he also took on the role of global president for the company.

In his expanded role as president and CEO, Storrer will be responsible for the company's strategy, business expansion, and worldwide operations. He will oversee the continued expansion of Strand's genomics software business and will be responsible for the continued development and marketing of Strand's precision medicine products in India.

Vijay Chandru, who has served as Strand's chairman and CEO since the company was founded in 2000, will continue in his role as chairman of the board of directors.
