Applied Proteomics has named Robert Verfurth vice president, sales and appointed William LaRue to the company's board.

Verfurth was previously vice president, sales and marketing for Innovus Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, he was vice president of sales of BQ kits and business development for Apricus Biosciences.

LaRue was senior vice president and chief financial officer at Cadence Pharmaceuticals. He also serves on the board of Tracon Pharmaceuticals.
