Ravi Jain

Ravi Jain has joined the University of California, Santa Cruz Genomics Institute as its managing director. Working with the institute's scientific director David Haussler, Jain will oversee its strategic planning, business development, operations, and other functions. He joins the institute from software development and bioinformatics consulting firm cBio, which he co-founded and where he was its president and CEO. He has a Ph.D. in molecular evolution from UCLA.
