Pete Betzelos and Joachim Schorr

Fluidigm has appointed Pete Betzelos as senior vice president of marketing, and Joachim Schorr as senior vice president of research and development. They will both report to Marc Unger, executive vice president of research, development, and marketing. Betzelos most recently served as global leader of clinical next-generation sequencing in vitro diagnostics systems at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Previously, he was vice president of global marketing at Cepheid and has held executive positions at Roche. Schorr most recently served as CSO at Caris Life Sciences. Previously he served as managing director and senior vice president of global research and development at Qiagen.
