NuProbe: Amir Jazaeri and Abhijit Patel

Houston-based sample preparation firm NuProbe added two oncologists to its clinical advisory board.

Amir Jazaeri is vice chair for clinical research and director of the gynecologic cancer immunotherapy program at MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research interests include comparison of traditional and cell-free DNA biomarkers. He serves on the editorial board of the journal Gynecologic Oncology. He holds an MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Abhijit Patel is a professor of therapeutic radiology at Yale University School of Medicine. His research focuses on the development and clinical validation of DNA-based, non-invasive cancer diagnostics, especially early cancer detection. He holds MD and PhD degrees from Yale.
