Molecular Assemblies: Todd Peterson

Synthetic DNA maker Molecular Assemblies has appointed Todd Peterson, chief scientific officer of the Allen Institute, to its board of directors.

He brings more than 35 years of experience in research and development, having also held leadership positions at Synthetic Genomics and Life Technologies, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. At Synthetic Genomics, he was CTO and at Life Technologies he led synthetic biology and genomics R&D.

Peterson holds a doctorate in microbiology from the University of Southern California.
