Mark Pulido, Kenneth Buechler

Quidel announced that Mark Pulido has resigned after 11 years as the chairman of the company's board of directors. He has moved on to a new position as chairman and CEO of healthcare information technology company Ability Network. Kenneth Buechler, a current board member, has been appointed the new chairman. Quidel's board is now composed of seven members, the firm said.
