Mark Powelson, William Olson, and Mark Bagnall

XCR Diagnostics has promoted COO Mark Powelson to CEO and president. He previously served as VP of sales and marketing at Handylab, and has also held positions with Gen-Probe and Boehringer Mannehim, among others. Powelson replaces William Olson, who held the titles of president, CEO, and board chairman on an interim basis. Olson is CEO of Fluoresentric, the parent company of XCR. Olson will remain on XCR's board, but will be replaced as chairman by board member Mark Bagnall.
