Lisa Giles, Michael Kagnoff

GenMark Diagnostics has appointed Lisa Giles and Michael Kagnoff to its board of directors. It also said that Steve Worland has resigned from the board so he can focus on his role as president and CEO of Effector Therapeutics.

Giles is president and CEO of Giles & Associates Consultancy, a privately held management consulting firm. She also currently serves as CEO of Optivara, a software company owned by Giles & Associates. She is a former VP of strategy development for pharmaceuticals firm G.D. Searle. Kagnoff is a partner at law firm DLA Piper.
