Laurence Reid, Gregory Verdine

Warp Drive Bio, which is using genomic technology for discovering therapeutics derived from natural products, appointed Laurence Reid its CEO. He succeeds Co-founder Gregory Verdine, who will serve as president and chief scientific officer, a board member, and chairman of Warp Drive's scientific advisory board. 

Reid most recently was chief business officer at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. He is also an entrepreneur-in-residence at Third Rock Ventures. Prior to Alynylam, he was CBO at Ensemble Therapeutics and spent 10 years at Millennium Pharmaceuticals.
