Jonathan Wygant and Carla Flakne

Alere has appointed Jonathan Wygant as its chief accounting officer. Carla Flakne, Wygant's predecessor, retired from the position on March 31. Wygant comes to Alere from CareFusion, where he has held numerous executive positions, including senior vice president, controller, chief accounting officer, vice president of finance, assistant controller, and director of finance. Before CareFusion spun-off from Cardinal Health, Wygant served as Cardinal Health's director of finance for clinical and medical products.
