John Fallon

Exact Sciences has appointed John Fallon to its board of directors. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and chief physician executive at Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Massachusetts from 2004 through 2015. Prior to his role at BCBS, Fallon served as CEO for clinical affairs at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, including University Hospital of Brooklyn and the clinical faculty practice plan. Fallon was also the founder and CEO of North Shore Health System, a large physician-hospital organization in Massachusetts. He currently serves on the boards of directors of Insulet and AMAG Pharmaceuticals. He also serves as chair on several not-for-profit boards, including the Network for Excellence in Health Innovation and the National Committee for Quality Assurance Medical Standards, as well as members of the boards for the New England Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council and Temple University School of Medicine Board of Advisors.
