James Posey

Circulogene Theranostics has appointed James Posey as chief medical advisor. In his new role, Poesy will help educate other oncologists about the efficacy and availability of Circulogene’s cfDNA liquid biopsy products and will be responsible for further validation of the company’s proprietary technology. Currently, he is a medical oncologist and associate professor of medicine at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB). He is also a senior scientist at the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center, serves as chair of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center’s GI working group, and chief GI consultant for the division of hematology/oncology at UAB Hospital.
