J. Thomas Kent

Maverix Biomics has appointed J. Thomas Kent as its vice president of research and development. Kent joins the company from Bristol-Myers Squibb where he held several strategic management roles. He also co-founded and was president of Sciformatix, a firm that developed cloud-based laboratory information management systems. Kent has also worked at Netflix, Hewlett Packard, Tethys Bioscience, Abgenix, and DNA Sciences.
