Charlie Slacik

Quidel has elected Charlie Slacik to its board of directors, expanding the company's board membership to eight. Slacik currently serves a member of the board and audit committee at Sequenom. From October 2006 until June 2011, he served as the senior vice president and chief financial officer for Beckman Coulter, after which the company was bought by Danaher.
