Thermo Fisher Scientific Ion AmpliSeq HD

Thermo Fisher Scientific has launched Ion AmpliSeq HD, a new library preparation technology for customized next-generation sequencing gene panels. It allows customers to design panels to detect single nucleotide variants, small indels, fusions, and copy number variants with a limit of detection as low as 0.1 percent in blood samples and has applications in both oncology research and inherited disease research.
