Thermo Fisher Scientific Hamilton ID Nimbus Presto Assay Ready Workstation

Thermo Fisher Scientific and Hamilton have jointly released the ID Nimbus Presto Assay Ready Workstation for automated DNA extraction from forensic samples. The system integrates the Thermo Scientific KingFisher Presto nucleic acid purification system with the Hamilton Microlab Nimbus liquid handling system. It is preconfigured and optimized for use with the Applied Biosystems PrepFiler Automated Forensic DNA Extraction Kit and can process up to 96 samples in parallel using deep-well plates.
