SomaGenics miR-ID Platform and Assays

SomaGenics has launched its miR-ID platform and assays for detecting miRNA using circularization-based RT-qPCR. The assays are highly sensitive, use single-dye detection, and can discriminate between miRNA isoforms with single nucleotide differences at any position along the molecule, said SomaGenics in a statement. The technology works well with all sample sources, including RNA, cell lysates, and tissue lysates. It also requires no enrichment for the analysis of total RNA for small RNAs, although it does analyze enriched fractions as well.
