SoftGenetics' Mutation Surveyor software
SoftGenetics has released a new version of Mutation Surveyor, its software for analyzing sanger sequencing data.
Version 5.0 has a variant knowledge database that lets users track variants by chromosomal position, indicate false positives and other chemistry/sequencing artifacts, and query information from databases such as dbSNP, dbNSFP, and COSMIC. This release also includes a new user management system that lets system administrators set up passwords, control access rights, and create audit trails.
