Sciex and Metabolon Lipidyzer Platform

Sciex and Metabolon have launched the Lipidyzer Platform, the first product resulting from a multi-year collaboration between the companies. The Lipidyzer enables scientists to rapidly identify and quantify more than 1,000 lipid molecular species and is expected to play a role in researching diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders. The platform features proprietary SelexION technology for lipid separation, delivering highly accurate and sensitive quantitation across many common lipid classes, the companies said.
