Qiagen Biomedical Genomics Workbench

Qiagen has launched the Biomedical Genomics Workbench, a bioinformatics platform that provides end-to-end and customizable analysis workflows for the discovery of biomarkers associated with hereditary disease and cancer. The new workbench replaces the existing CLC Cancer Research Workbench. Key features of the platform include dynamic 3D protein structure visualizations for functional impact assessment; new modules for high-sensitivity identification of copy number alterations, CHiP-seq analysis, and the detection of variation in whole-genome, -exome, and targeted amplicon sequencing and transcriptome data; and tools for differential gene expression analysis and restriction and cloning site mapping.
