Purigen Biosystems Ionic FFPE Complete Purification Kit

Purigen Biosystems has launched the Ionic FFPE Complete Purification Kit, which enables users to consistently recover both DNA and RNA simultaneously from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue samples in a single workflow. Purigen said that the workflow reduces hands-on time by as much as 75 percent compared to manual column or bead-based methods. The kit uses the company's Ionic Purification System, a benchtop instrument that uses isotachophoresis and so-called Ionic Fluidic Chips to automate the extraction of nucleic acids from a wide range of sample types. The Ionic FFPE Complete Purification Kit consists of 12 chips and a reagent set with all necessary enzymes and buffers to perform DNA extraction from 48 samples.
