Novogene Europe Clinical Sequencing Services

Novogene Europe has launched a service to provide its European customers with next-generation sequencing for clinical samples. Novogene launched the service after its Cambridge, UK-based sequencing center was awarded ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. The service accepts DNA, whole blood, saliva, and buccal swabs as starting materials, and uses the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform for sequencing, according to the company's website. Exome capture is performed with Agilent SureSelect products, and sequencing coverage can be provided at 50X or 100X.

The company has also previously received CLIA accreditation for its California clinical laboratory in the US, and CAP accreditation for its Tianjin Medical Lab in China.
