New England Biolabs Monarch DNA Purification Kits

New England Biolabs has launched the Monarch family of products for DNA purification. Kits are available for gel extraction, plasmid miniprep, and reaction cleanup. They have optimized protocols and buffer systems for robust DNA cleanup and purification of plasmid DNA, and a unique column design that allows for elution in smaller volumes and does not retain buffer, eliminating unwanted carryover contamination. Monarch kits are also designed to minimize environmental impact — they're packaged using responsibly sourced, recyclable materials, and 44 percent less plastic. Buffers and columns can also be purchased separately.
