Multiplicom BRCA Hereditary Cancer MASTR Plus Kit, BRCA Tumor MASTR Plus Kit

Multiplicom has released two new gene panel amplification kits for next-gen sequencing-based cancer testing.

The BRCA Hereditary Cancer MASTR Plus kit detects germline variants in 26 genes associated with hereditary cancers, and the BRCA Tumor MASTR Plus kit detects variants in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes in tumor biopsy material.

Initially, both kits are available for research use only, but Multiplicom has started clinical validation studies to obtain CE-IVD marking for the assays.
