Kapa Biosystems' KAPA HyperPlus Kit, KAPA Stranded RNA-Seq Kit with RiboErase

Kapa Biosystems has launched two new products: the KAPA HyperPlus Kit and the KAPA Stranded RNA-Seq Kit with RiboErase. The KAPA HyperPlus Kit is a single-tube workflow that enables DNA fragmentation and library preparation in 2.5 hours with minimal hands on time, the firm said. Its compatible with Illumina's sequencers and can be automated on a variety of liquid-handling platforms.

The KAPA Stranded RNA-Seq Kit with RiboErase RNA is a library preparation solution that utilizes a targeted enzymatic depletion method to reduce rRNA by up to 99.9 percent, according to the company. It also offers improved coverage of difficult GC-rich and low-abundance transcripts.
