Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics' ExoComplete

Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics has launched in the US the ExoComplete 96-Well Plat Kit and ExoComplete Tube Kit for exosome collection to mRNA purification. The ExoComplete system isolates exosomal mRNA from biological samples such as plasma in a 96-well filter plate, or from large-volume samples such as urine in a single collection tube. A proprietary filter material then captures exosomes and microvesicles reproducibly, without clogging, and without the use of conventional ultracentrifugation, Hitachi said. After lysing the captured cells, mRNA is isolated through hybridization with single-strand oligos immobilized in the wells of the 96-well plate.
