GenoTyping Center of America Testing Services

GenoTyping Center of America (GTCA) recently launched several genetic testing services. The Bangor, Me.-based firm now offers:

  • PCR genotyping services for targeted mutations and common transgene targets, such as neomycin, luciferase, GFP, lacZ, and Cre recombinase
  • highly flexible zygosity testing services using hydrolysis probes to quantitatively determine if samples are homozygous or hemizygous with respect to transgenes of interest
  • point mutation genotyping services using probe-based PCR for SNP and indel testing for validation and screening projects

The company said that all of its tests have a two-day turnaround time.
