GenoTyping Center of America (GTCA) recently launched several genetic testing services. The Bangor, Me.-based firm now offers:

PCR genotyping services for targeted mutations and common transgene targets, such as neomycin, luciferase, GFP, lacZ, and Cre recombinase
highly flexible zygosity testing services using hydrolysis probes to quantitatively determine if samples are homozygous or hemizygous with respect to transgenes of interest
point mutation genotyping services using probe-based PCR for SNP and indel testing for validation and screening projects

The company said that all of its tests have a two-day turnaround time.
