Fluidigm's Polaris

Fluidigm said this week that it will provide attendees of the Advances in Genome Biology and Technology meeting a first look at the firm's new Polaris single-cell research system. Polaris integrates cell selection, isolation, dose, culture, and molecular preparation into a single workflow. According to the firm, it will enable researchers to directly correlate gene expression with environmental conditions and phenotypic information. Fluidigm plans to begin shipping the new system mid-year.
