FactBio's Knowledge Sharing Platform

Bioinformatics software developer FactBio has launched the first version of Kusp, its knowledge sharing platform, which is specifically designed for the life sciences industry. According to the developers, Kusp uses community standards to improve data discovery, curation, and integration and lets users simplify data curation through automation and by applying advanced data science techniques. Its list of features includes providing reference ontologies and biomedical identifiers for annotating biological entities and the ability to learn new patterns of annotation based on user input which improves its performance over time.
