Exosome Diagnostics ExoDx Lung (ALK)

Exosome Diagnostics has launched ExoDx Lung (ALK), a liquid biopsy test designed to isolate and analyze exosomal RNA from a blood sample. The test has been validated in Exosome's CLIA-certified laboratory. ExoDx is a plasma-based diagnostic test that enables sensitive, accurate, and real-time detection of EML4-ALK mutations in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. EML4-ALK is a gene fusion found in a subset of patients with NSCLC and predicts response to ALK inhibitor therapies. The test is the first in a series of 2016 planned diagnostics launches for the company.
