DbSNP 145 and Genome Workbench 2.9.5

The National Center for Biotechnology Information has released dbSNP 145. This release includes data for pig, chicken, sorghum, and gibbon. It provides more than 195 million submitted and 84 million reference variants for the four species. Additional details are available here.

NCBI has also released Genome Workbench 2.9.5. New features in this relese include added support for the Mac operating system and a ruler for protein coding regions in the graphical sequence view, among other fixes and improvements. Additional details are available in the release notes.
