CosmosID's Metagenomics Plugin for Qiagen's Products

Qiagen and CosmosID have launched a metagenomics analysis plugin for the Qiagen Microbial Genomics Pro suite and the CLC Genomics Workbench. The CosmosID plugin offers support for shotgun metagenomics and microbiome profiling for application in the fields of infectious disease, food safety, animal health, agriculture, and environmental analysis. According to the developers, the plugin will enable customers of Qiagen's informatics products profile microbial communities quickly and accurately with strain level resolution.
