CombiMatrix Microarray Testing for Stillbirth Analysis

CombiMatrix has announced the commercial launch of its SNP microarray genetic diagnostic testing of intrauterine fetal demise (IUFD), commonly known as stillbirth genetic testing. The American College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists stated that microarray analysis has proven to show better diagnostic power than karyotyping. The test utilizes SNP microarray technology to detect maternal cell contamination, the company stated.
