Clontech's Smart-Seq v4 Ultra Low Input RNA Kit for the Fluidigm C1 System

Fluidigm and Takara Bio subsidiary Clontech Laboratories have jointly launched the Smart-Seq v4 Ultra Low Input RNA kit for the Fluidigm C1 system. The kit is available for four and 10 integrated fluidic circuits, and allows for high-quality cDNA synthesis starting from 96 single cells that have been isolated and processed with the C1 system. Like Clontech's other Smart-Seq v4 products, this kit provides higher sensitivity, more accurate expression data for genes with high GC content, and higher yield of cDNA compared to existing chemistry, the company said.
