Cellecta Human Whole Genome CRISPR Knockout Library

Cellecta has released its pooled CRISPR guide RNA (sgRNA) Knockout Library targeting all protein coding genes.

Each gene is targeted by eight sgRNAs, selected to be as specific as possible to that gene. The lentiviral-based library comes in three modules each targeting a third of the genome and can be used separately or together. The modules are similar to Cellecta's Human Genome-Wide shRNA Library, targeting the same sets of genes so researchers can use both CRISPR and RNAi for loss-of-function screens.
