CareDx Olerup QTYPE

CareDx has launched its Olerup QTYPE test, an alternative for rapid human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing. Using PCR-based technology, the test can identify a patient's antigens against HLA Class I, Class II or antibodies against a donor's endothelium and  produce results within one hour, the company said. The test is currently for use on the Roche LightCyler 480II RT-PCR instrument.
