Canon BioMedical Novallele Control Set

Canon BioMedical has launched its Novallele Control set. The kit contains two controls, a homozygous wild-type and a homozygous mutant, and the user can also prepare a heterozygous control by combining the homozygous wild-type and mutant controls to provide all three genotypes for a specific target, the company said. The controls are run as a sample in the company's corresponding Novallele genotyping assay, and scientists can genotype their samples by comparing the sample melt curves to the control set's melt curves.
