BloodCenter of Wisconsin now offers genetic deletion/duplication analysis. The test uses array Comparative Genomic Hybridization to detect deletions and duplications within a gene. The analysis can reveal whether the mutation involves the entire gene, encompasses one or more exons, or exists within a single exon.
