Bioline EPIK miRNA Panel Assays

Meridian Bioscience subsidiary Bioline has launched panel assay kits for miRNA profiling of cancer samples, biofluids, and stem cells. EPIK miRNA Panel Assays are the result of a collaboration between Singapore firm MiRXES and Bioline. The assays use combinations of miRNA specific reverse transcriptase and hemi-nested real-time PCR primers designed to maximize miRNA detection sensitivity and specificity, as well as SensiSMART with SYBR Green to enable detection of low levels of miRNA and allow discrimination between closely related miRNA sequences.
