Bio-Rad's ddPCR CHO and ddPCR E. coli Residual DNA Quantification Kits

Bio-Rad has launched two residual DNA quantification kits for ddPCR. The ddPCR CHO and ddPCR E. coli Residual DNA Quantification Kits allow for measurement of host-cell DNA in biopharmaceuticals purified from E. coli or Chinese hamster ovary cells, without the need for upfront nucleic acid purification steps, the firm said. Host-cell DNA levels are regulated for consumer safety in biopharma products. The ddPCR system bypasses the need for DNA extraction, and also works with fragmented DNA.
